#  Spring 2025 Monthly-to-Biweekly Payroll Transition

 On April 1, 2025, the University transitioned from a monthly pay cycle to a biweekly pay cycle for faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and other academic employees.

 Under the new biweekly schedule:

- **Pay periods will cover two weeks of preceding work**, with paychecks issued every other Friday in alignment with University staff.
- The first biweekly paycheck under this new schedule was issued on **April 18, 2025**, covering the period April 1–April 12 (the first two days of the typical biweekly pay period, March 30–31, were included in the final monthly paycheck on March 31, 2025).

- Tips and Tricks for calculating, entering and reconciling faculty/postdoctoral fellow/academic biweekly payroll for payroll administrators

##  PeopleSoft Self-Service Refresher for Affected Faculty, Postdoctoral Fellows and Academic Employees

 **Audience:** faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and academic employees

 **Course description:** A virtual course, led by subject matter specialists from Central Payroll, will give a general overview regarding the transition to a biweekly payroll and will review:

- The revised payroll calendar
- Resources available to calculate tax withholdings
- Refresher on how to make adjustments to direct deposit and tax withholdings in PeopleSoft
