Electronic I-9 New Hires

New Harvard Employees:
 

In accordance with federal law, Harvard requires all employees to complete Form I-9 as part of the employment eligibility verification process. Harvard is also an E-Verify participant. Harvard’s electronic I-9 system is administered by Equifax.

Section 1 of this form may be completed any time after an offer of employment is accepted, but no later than your first day of work.

Once Section 1 has been completed, individuals must join one of the available zoom sessions to present their unexpired documents no later than your third day of work.

Once Section 1 has been completed, individuals must take their original, unexpired documents no later than your third day of work to their school or unit’s I-9 Administrator, in order to complete Section 2 in person.

You are encouraged to complete Section 2 as soon as possible, to avoid any delays in your onboarding process.
